Created by Dr. Tammy S. Smith, MPH, DrPH
Marginalized communities face higher rates of diabetes, hypertension, and obesity while carrying the burden of chronic stress, trauma, and limited access to culturally responsive care. The Inspired Health & Wellness Network was created to change that.
This initiative serves the holistic health needs of underserved communities — including a future Mobile Health & Wellness Unit that brings services directly into historically excluded communities, removing barriers of transportation and cost.
To spread awareness of health risks, improve wellness, and build resilience by delivering mobile, culturally responsive, whole-person care — where people live, work, learn, and worship.
Healthy, thriving communities where everyone, regardless of identity, income, or zip code, has equitable access to holistic care and the tools to heal.
